Pharmacies
See every industryThe refill question and the delivery question arrive on the same number.
A shared inbox for the counter, with an owner per conversation so nobody answers twice. What it is not is a place to keep prescriptions — that part of the page is the one to read first.
- One inbox the whole counter can see
- Business hours answer when the shop is shut
- Your last 90 days, imported
Is it right for you?
Not a place to store prescriptions or medication histories
Customers will send photographs of prescriptions, because they already do. Unibox stores those messages the way it stores any other, with no separate encryption on message bodies and no audit log on the plan we sell. Do not transcribe medication details into custom fields, and do not treat the inbox as a record of what anyone takes. Your dispensing system is the record; this is the conversation around it.
What it does solve well
The counter's commercial half, which is where the volume is.
Two assistants stop answering the same customer
Every conversation has an owner and the name sits on the row. At the counter, where whoever is free picks up the phone, that is the whole problem.
The repeat customer comes back on their own cycle
A keep-in-touch cadence set to their month means the conversation returns to the top when the repeat is due — in the thread they already use.
Deliveries stop living on a notepad
A label and a stage on the row, so the person packing knows what is confirmed and what is still a question.
Three routines to set up in week one
All on the plan we sell today, and none of it needs your dispensing system.
Stock and price questions
The message that arrives most, all day.
- Quick replies for opening hours, delivery area and fees
- Label by type from the row: stock, delivery, repeat
- Business hours answer when the shop is shut
Delivery run
The half of the day that goes wrong on paper.
- A Confirmed stage, moved from the row without opening
- Custom fields for the address and the delivery window
- The customer messages on arrival and the thread jumps up
Repeats
Predictable revenue that depends on somebody remembering.
- A keep-in-touch cadence on each customer's own month
- Snooze to the date the repeat is due
- The report shows who stopped coming back
What Unibox does not do
Said here rather than discovered after you subscribe. It is the reason to believe the rest of this page.
No bulk sending
There is no blast, and there is a cap on how much leaves each number. That is a decision rather than a gap: blasting is the fastest way to lose your business's number.
It cannot message someone first
Our API replies inside a conversation that already exists and deliberately has no endpoint to open one. Every automation here starts after the person has messaged you.
It does not check stock, dispense or bill
Unibox does not connect to your dispensing system or your till, does not know what is on the shelf, and does not process payment. A person answers the stock question. What we keep is the conversation it was asked in.
Caio, our chief AI officer
He reads the conversation and writes the draft. You are the one who sends it.
Caio is being built, and this section exists to say what he will do rather than to imply he already does it. Nothing above on this page depends on him.
- Drafts the reply with the customer's history to hand — you review and send
- Reads “call me Tuesday” as a snooze and sets the return
- Summarises a three-week thread for whoever just picked it up
The badge comes off the day he ships. Until then he is not a feature and he is not in the price.
Before you connect your number, read this
We connect by QR code, the way WhatsApp Web does — no Business API, no Meta verification, no waiting. The cost of that is real: WhatsApp's terms do not permit unofficial clients, and it may warn, restrict or ban a number that uses one. The risk is yours, it rises with volume, and it is why we cap sending and do not blast. The advice we would give a friend: connect the business's number, not the owner's personal phone.

Customers send photos of prescriptions. Is that a problem?
It is something to be deliberate about. Those photos sit in the conversation like any other message, with no extra encryption from us. Our advice is to act on them and keep the record in your dispensing system, rather than treating the inbox as the record.
Can I send refill reminders automatically?
Not as a blast, deliberately. The keep-in-touch cadence brings the conversation back to you on the right day so you write to one person; there is no endpoint that opens a conversation with someone who has not messaged you.
Does it integrate with my point of sale?
No. Nothing here talks to a till or a dispensing system. If that integration is what you need, this is not the tool.
Three people work the counter. Does that fit?
It does. One number, three people in the same inbox, every conversation with an owner. The plan we sell goes up to three people.
